Why Should We Use A Shredding Service Instead Of Our Own Shredder?

cost all add up to much more than we charge, and we do all the work.
A 4 drawer file holds about 135kg of material. A substantial office shredder shreds about 10kg per hour. It would take about 12-15 hours to do what we could do in minutes. Our mobile equipment shreds up to 4 tons per hour. Plus your staff can focus on their job, not shredding.

Yes. We recycle 100% of the paper we shred.
How Do You Charge For Your Services?
Our fee is fixed by the quantity of material shredded i.e. by weight not by the minute, so you'll always know what your cost is before we start the job. An exact price can be agreed in advance if required
How Do You Ensure The Security Of Our Documents?
All material is shredded at your location, and we never touch your confidential documents. Your documents are deposited directly into the shredder automatically. We do not sift through your material or hand feed the shredder.
Why Have Our Documents Shredded On-Site Instead Of Having Them Taken Away And Shredded By An Off Site Company?
Security. Once your documents leave your location, you can never be sure what actually happens to them or who may see or have access to them. We do not sort your documents nor touch them. You may even witness the destruction process. Most off site companies are really paper or fibre recyclers whose main business is obtaining fibre to recycle. They sort paper according to grade to obtain the highest price. Our shredding equipment is so advanced that it allows us to provide on-site service at off-site pricing.
Do You Strip Shred The Material?
No way! Strip shredding is a very inefficient method of shredding documents. Material that is strip shredded can easily be reconstructed. Our equipment, uses a pierce and tear method which renders your documents into very small unreadable pieces.
Are There Any Restrictions About What We Can We Put In Your Security Containers?
Yes. Paper only, please.
What Happens If We Need You To Come Out Before Our Scheduled Service Date?
We'll come out early.
Do We Need To Pay When You Shred Or Can You Issue An Invoice?
Either and we accept credit cards too.
Do You Issue A Certificate Of Destruction?
Yes. Once your documents have been destroyed, we issue you a Certificate of Destruction and the output is then recycled.
What Kinds Of Security Containers Do You Provide?
We provide a variety of security containers to meet your needs free of charge provided you meet our minimum service call. Our Standard container has a capacity of 102kg of material and our Executive container holds about 35kg of material.
What If I Only Need Shredding Once A Year?
We service many clients who use us just once as well as companies who need to shred regularly.
Do you provide a shredding service to individuals or households?
Yes, we cater for private individuals to large corporates.
Do I need to remove staples prior to shredding?
No, our shredders are heavy duty, industrial and can handle staples, paper clips, bindings or anything similar.
How much notice would you like?
The more notice the better. But we can normally accommodate most requirements within a few days’ notice. We have scheduled routes each day to different areas and are likely to be in your area at least once a week.
How big are your mobile shredding trucks?
Our personalised mobile shredding trucks are about the size of a typical council rubbish/recycling truck.
